Get personalized, evidence-based breastfeeding guidance from a Certified Lactation Counselor—available in English and Spanish. During our virtual consultation, we’ll identify what’s working, troubleshoot challenges, and create a plan that fits your family’s unique needs, all from the comfort of your home—so you can feed your baby with confidence and peace of mind. Read below about appointment specifics and what to expect during a virtual consultation.
These are all virtual appointments. Currently, we are “out of network” with all insurances, including Medicare and Medicaid. This allows us to spend more one-on-one time in our sessions and provide the highest quality of care to our patients.

Lactation appointments usually include a feeding observation. Be ready to move or prop your device (laptop, tablet, or phone) so that the Lactation Counselor can effectively observe from different angles.
If a session is canceled due to a technical failure on our end, you will not be charged, and we will reschedule you immediately.
If the technical failure is on the client's end, we will attempt to continue the session via phone. If we cannot connect, the Late Cancellation policy will apply.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your consultation, we require a minimum of 24 hours notice prior to your scheduled appointment time. For appointments scheduled on Monday, notice must be received by 11:00 AM CT on the preceding Friday. This crucial lead time allows us to offer this valuable appointment slot to another family urgently waiting for lactation support.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged a late cancellation fee of 50% of the scheduled service fee.
Failure to attend a scheduled virtual appointment (a 'No-Show') will result in a charge for the full price of the consultation.
